³ûÄñÊÓƵ receives Adelante Healthcare’s Changemaker In Learning Award for its innovative training programs and long-standing partnership that improves health literacy, reduces inequities, and prepares future healthcare leaders in Arizona.

On September 25, 2025, ³ûÄñÊÓƵ was honored to receive the Changemaker In Learning Award from in Arizona.
This award recognizes a school district or educational program that has meaningfully partnered with Adelante to improve the health and well-being of students and families. It honors those who are not only committed to education, but also to building health literacy and reducing inequities in our communities.
Leah Youmatzo, Adelante Healthcare Chief of Staff, presented the award and complimented ³ûÄñÊÓƵ’s innovative training programs:

Their innovative training programs prepare students not just to succeed in a classroom, but to thrive in real-world community care. Many have gone on to serve in communities like ours, bringing with them the lessons they learned through partnership with Adelante. ³ûÄñÊÓƵ is truly nurturing the next generation of healthcare leaders. Adelante Healthcare’s roots were planted over 40 years ago in response to migrant workers needing accessible, quality care. Then, ClÃnica Adelante visited farms and provided a safe place for those who would have otherwise lived in the shadows without healthcare. While we have grown and expanded from our humble beginnings, our commitment to service and access to care remains.
Today, Adelante Healthcare is a certified community health center with nine locations in Arizona, serving Maricopa County. Our passionate and highly skilled team members serve a diverse mix of patients, regardless of a person’s background, status, or station in life. We are culturally fluent and able to respond to and serve diverse healthcare needs. Our services cover the whole person, including adult and family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, nutrition services, dental, and behavioral health.
