The , located at 59th Avenue and Utopia Road in Glendale, is pleased to announce the opening of its new refractive suite, featuring cutting-edge technology designed to deliver advanced vision correction solutions.
The new suite is equipped with the latest industry-leading devices, including the ZEISS Visumax 800, the Alcon Wavelight 500, and the ZEISS SMILE Pro, expanding the range of corrective options available for Eye Institute patients.
With these new additions, the Eye Institute can now offer individualized, minimally invasive, and advanced services, including LASIK, Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK), Small Incision Lenticule Extraction (SMILE), and Implantable Collamer Lenses (ICL). These procedures are tailored specifically to individual patients' needs and address a wide range of refractive errors, including myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism.
Ophthalmologists from the Arizona College of Optometry (AZCOPT) will provide specialized services in the new suite. Robert Fintelmann, M.D., Associate Professor, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cornea surgeon with the highest surgical qualifications and will perform the specialized surgical procedures.
